The RETA Innovation Project is organised based on the results produced and activities carried out by its members to achieve the goals initially determined by the Operational Group. These include:
Developing a methodological Guide to creating farm incubators in Spain
This document is an orientation manual for all the entities that intend to initiate an implementation process for a programme of progressive incorporation into the sector through a farm incubator.
This activity is coordinated by the University of Extremadura and has been carried out by all the members of the RETA Operational Group.
Creating a Support Centre for the incorporation of the new entrants
The Support Centre for the incorporation of new entrants develops a comprehensive support methodology for entrepreneurs who participate in the farm incubators.
This activity is coordinated by Cooprado and Rurbans and developed in association with ARCA.
Implementation of a Livestock Farm Incubator in Casar de Cáceres
The livestock farm incubator of Casar de Cáceres is a pilot project led by Cooprado, directed at an intensive farming experiment of a herd of 160 goats for milk. The farm incubator is developed through practical training, as a centre for experiments and research promotion as well as an experience of being introduced to the primary economic activities in the schools.
Implementation of a Livestock Farm Incubator in Gandesa
The livestock farm incubator of Gandesa is a pilot project coordinated by Rurbans in collaboration with Terra Alta region's Federation of ADFs and the Town Council of Gandesa. It is directed at extensive farming of a herd of goats for meat and is developed as an experimental initiative on intensive silvopasture for the prevention of forest fires as well as an innovative experience in grass-fed meat production.
Creation of the Network of Farm Incubators
The Network of Farm Incubators is an upcoming network which will define the entities that lead and manage the farm incubators in Spain. The development of the Innovation Project involves the execution of all actions necessary for the creation of this network. The initial sessions on the farm incubators of Spain are scheduled to be carried out to lay the groundwork for the upcoming network while simultaneously initiating the implementation of farm incubators as well as the coordination of the participants involved.
This activity is coordinated by ARCA and REDEX alongside the participation of all entities associated with the RETA Operational Group.
Execution of the Communications Plan of the Network of Farm Incubators
The Communications Plan of the Network of Farm Incubators provides information on the learning process of the RETA Operational Group and its Innovation Project. Its communication channels include its website, the social media—Twitter and Facebook—as well as various publications such as brochures, flyers and the Newsletter. Furthermore, the associated entities also participate in several public communication events as well as in the dissemination of the results through scientific or informative publications via different channels.
This activity is coordinated by REDEX alongside the participation of all entities associated with the RETA Operational Group.
